Handmade in Indonesia, Pandan leaves are harvested, split into slimmer fibers then hand-braided to shape this beautifully textured drum-style coffee table. Color changes over time - ranging from green and yellow to brown and grey - are to be expected and reflect the natural, character-rich backstory of such intriguingly unique materials.

As with any organic material, the pandan ropes color will evolve until it is fully dried out. Once in the consumers home, the end product is influenced by various factors such as humidity and exposure to sunlight. In a dry climate and direct sunlight, the color will lighten more rapidly, while in high humidity and a dark space, the aging process will be more gradual. The change is generally gradual and subtle.
